Hillsboro Inn

The room was excellent, clean. Stranded motorist - this motel was exactly what I needed, when I needed a place to stay overnight! Friendly, courteous staff.

Due to the fun ice storm after Christmas we were stranded on the interstate for 5 hours in stand still traffic and then the interstate was closed so we decided to get a room here before trying to get back home to Fargo the following day. The guy at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and roomy with nice lament flooring. Every hotel should have this…carpet sucks. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area or ever get stranded on the interstate. Great place all around!!

We had a funeral in Hillsboro, ND. This was so convenient - the next closest hotel was 45 minutes away and with road construction it would have been more like one hour. It was comfortable - like staying at home. It was cute & quaint - meaningful quotes all over, well kept plants, lots of special touches. Judy apologized for the carpet in our room, she said it was going to be replaced soon. It looked fine to me. Great place to stay. Judy is awesome. Coffee is awesome, not the watered down kind others make. Great rate, not the crazy high priced rooms. Clean and comfortable!

Clean room with a mini fridge. Free WiFi. There is coffee in the lobby (I don't drink coffee so cannot comment on its quality). There is a microwave in the lobby, too, for community use. Ice in small quantities is available and there is a Dollar General across the parking lot for bags of ice. Powerful bathtub shower with enough hot water. Heatlamp in the bathroom, too. They ask you to conserve by turning off lights and turning down the thermostat when you leave your room for extended periods. That makes sense. They're good about making up your bed, etc. My expectations were exceeded.

Excellent place to stay. The staff I believe are the owners are so nice. I was having trouble with my truck and he helped me with it. Rooms are very nice,very clean. All I can say is Awesome. Most definitely will be back and would highly recommend to anyone to stay. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed here a few years ago and we thought it was a great little motel. Stayed there again end of May this year and again we thought it was great place. The gentleman I talked to for the reservation was really nice. It was nice and clean just what we needed

By far 10/10 Motel. Excellent service all around. Judy goes above and beyond running the place. If you ever get the chance to stay there consider your self lucky. No other establishment out there will be up to there standards. I was treated if it was my home away from home. They make sure you you have everything you need plus some. Doesn’t matter what shift you work or how long of hours they always make sure you have a clean room and can get sleep while your off. They will wash and fold your clothes for 10$ a load also. They Treat the working class amazing just remember take your muddy boots off at the door lol. Can’t beat the price either. Thanks Judy!

Amazing stay! Newly renovated! Very warm and cozy for our long time stay. Great staff. Can’t wait to come back next year!

This is a very clean decent American Owned and operated Mom and Pop Motel. The Owners are very good People both the Husband and Wife. They treat people very decent and the reviews written on this place are consistent and I highly recommend anyone coming into Hillsborough North Dakota to make this your Designated stop and Stay here.
